Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and GoalieIQ Analytics ("GoalieIQ", "we"), operated by Matias Baker in Ontario, Canada. By creating an account or using goalieiqanalytics.com, you agree to them. If you're under 18, your parent or guardian must agree to these terms on your behalf.
The service
GoalieIQ tracks hockey goaltending performance from game film and shows it as stats, breakdowns and trends. Coaches can view goalies who are linked to them. Some features (like AI Coach and AI game reports) depend on your plan.
Your account
- Give accurate information and keep your password private.
- You're responsible for activity on your account.
- One account per person. Don't share your login.
Plans, trials and billing
- First game free: every new goalie gets 1 game tracked free. No card is needed. One free game per person.
- Pay per game: after that, you buy games one at a time or in packs, in Canadian dollars through Stripe, at the price shown at checkout. It's a one-time payment, not a subscription, so nothing renews.
- Games tracked: each game added to your account uses one of your games. Unused games don't expire.
- You keep access to your dashboard and every game you've had tracked.
- If prices change, the new price applies to future purchases only.
- Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
Your content
You keep ownership of the game film and information you provide. You give us permission to store and process it to provide GoalieIQ to you and to coaches you're connected to. Only upload film you have the right to share. We won't use your name, stats or video publicly without your permission.
Acceptable use
Don't try to access other people's data, break or overload the service, reverse engineer it, or use it for anything unlawful.
About the stats
Stats are produced by tracking each game by hand and by our shot-quality model, which estimates how likely a shot is to score. They're a tool to support development, not a guarantee of results, and small numbers of games can swing a lot. AI features can make mistakes, so use them alongside your own judgement and your coach's.
Availability
We work to keep GoalieIQ running, but it may sometimes be unavailable or change as we improve it.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from the About page. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, GoalieIQ is provided "as is", and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
